The Electrical Service Apprentice / Helper will assist Service Technicians on various electrical projects assigned by Supervisor or Service Coordinator.
- Assist with the installation of various electrical systems, both indoor and outdoor.
- Perform duties assigned by the Service Tech or Supervisor in a timely manner.
- Help with Install wiring in residential homes and commercial buildings
- Follow all safety procedures.
- Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and ladders.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices throughout workday.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to learn the trade.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the assigned job site throughout the greater Orlando area.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
- Must be able to pass a full background check, drug test and DMV
- Must be able to work 40 hours a week, including overtime if required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous electrical experience is preferred but not required.
- Physically able to work with heavy tools and equipment at heights.
- Must be able to lift 60 pounds at a time to carry heavy cable.
- Work in confined attic or crawl spaces.
- This is an hourly position requiring the employee to record the working hours on a personal smart phone app.
