HVAC Installation Manager with TACLA License
Job Summary
The Installation Manager supports both the field and office operations. The Installation Manager understands the urgency and importance behind getting each assignment done quickly and accurately.
A strong start - Job packets are reviewed upon closing to determine the complete Scope of Work needed to deliver the complete product sold. Provide clear instructions and determine proper materials to help assure that each installation is performed in accordance with local Mechanical Code and company Installation Department’s standards.
A strong close - Each job is completed 100% and collected. If problems arise during the install, the Install Manager has the ability to guide the team to complete what's necessary to get the job done in a timely manner.
Supervise and coordinate the installation of new units and replacement parts for heating and air conditioning systems. Managing a team of installers and ensuring each assignment is completed according to company work and safety standards. Assist with training all installation technicians and developing training programs as required, contributing to developing of the company’s standard operating procedures.
Great communication skills to be able to guide installers through technical challenges over the phone. This Install Manager position requires the management of installs at each Atlas Hub- San Antonio, Austin, DFW and Houston.
Failed inspections and early returns due to a faulty install are unacceptable and hinder Atlas's reputation and quality of work standards. You will be held to a 2% failure rate standard on failed inspections or early returns due to a faulty install. Bonus's are paid monthly when metrics are met. You must take pride in your work, be personable, customer-focused, and ready to take on new challenges in a fast-paced environment and you must be willing to grow personally, as the department grows. Though this role will be challenging, it will also be rewarding.
Job Duties
- Review paperwork and pictures in job packet to ensure a clear understanding of the job requirements.
- Communicate with estimating as needed to gather all needed information to determine what is needed to fulfill the terms of the contract and to deliver what the customer expects.
- Resolve any deficiencies, inaccuracies or other issues before the job is processed.
- Clear instructions within the Work Order so that the installer knows everything needed to complete the install.
- Produce a complete inventory of needed material to do the work and oversee that it's all staged 100%.
- Address all internal and external customer concerns and issues in a quick but effective manner.
- Provide technical support as required

Education and Experience
- Minimum of 5 years HVAC field experience
- Beginner Microsoft Word & Excel skills required
- Possess a strong knowledge of HVAC terms, operation, application and installation
- EPA certification
- Valid driver’s license in good standing
- Clear background check
- EPA Certified
- TACLA "A License Minimum"
- NATE certification is a plus
