This employment opportunity is with Hale’s Electrical Service in North Dinwiddie, VA.
Hale’s Electrical Service, Inc. is seeking a vibrant, highly motivated Journeyman (licensed in the state of Virginia) who is driven to be the best in their field.
Responsibilities/Requirements:
- Licensed Journeyman in the State of Virginia
- Minimum 3 years working as a Journeyman Electrician in Virginia
- Perform, with minimal supervision, all aspects of work relating to the electrical installation of Generac generator systems.
- This includes air and liquid cooled units.
- Use knowledge, skills, and abilities to identify and calculate code requirements for daily installation sites to ensure approved final electrical inspection.
- Use personal communication and leadership skills to interact favorably with Hale’s Electrical Staff, customer and crews.
- Daily review and planning of assigned work, materials, crews and tools for the most time and cost effective way to perform duties.
- Perform electrical installation using crew provided to install Generac Generator, Transfer Switches, and electrical work as assigned.
- Review procedures set forth and recommend cost saving measures and methods.
- Guide, direct, empower and teach any apprentices / helpers on location as assigned to increase their understanding of the work required, as well as teach the skills, procedures and manner in which work is to be performed to meet Hale’s Electrical Service standards.
- Maintain assigned vehicle, equipment and tools and report incidents and damaged vehicle, equipment or tools to management for repair / replacement.
- Communicate with Staff regularly on jobsite progress, challenges and remedies to enable office and related staff to communicate with others as needed.

- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. frequently
- Valid driver’s license
