Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced General Manager to oversee our operations and drive the success of our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a proven track record in managing teams and resources effectively. As a General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our business objectives are met while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. This dealership is located in the East Texas area, very family oriented and committed to low pressure sales; as well as, community involvement.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness across all departments.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve company goals and objectives.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial management to ensure the organization's fiscal health.
- Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, communication, and employee engagement.
- Monitor performance metrics and implement improvements as necessary to enhance productivity.
- Build strong relationships with clients, owner, and vendors to support business growth.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
- Conduct regular meetings with department heads to review performance, address challenges, and strategize for future success.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar leadership role within the industry.
- Strong understanding of business functions such as HR, finance, marketing, and operations.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in using management software and tools for reporting and analysis.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field; MBA preferred but not required.
