Paragon Mechanical is seeking a skilled HVAC Installer to join our team of professionals. In this role, you will be responsible for installing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial buildings. With a strong technical background and attention to detail, the ideal candidate can work independently or as part of a team to ensure that all HVAC installations meet specifications and industry codes.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Install a wide variety of HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, boilers, heat pumps, ductless systems, tankless water heaters, and ductwork.
- Utilize cast-iron and condensing boiler experience for installations and troubleshooting.
- Perform soft soldering, brazing, and Pro-Press techniques for piping and fittings.
- Measure, fabricate, and install sheet metal fittings and ductwork for HVAC systems.
- Perform startup and testing of HVAC systems, ensuring proper operation and efficiency.
- Connect wiring and controls for HVAC systems to verify operational functionality.
- Provide system demonstrations and explanations to customers post-installation.
- Troubleshoot HVAC system issues and recommend repairs or upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, building codes, and company standards.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation for each installation.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Proven experience as an HVAC Installer or similar role; minimum of 10 years preferred.
- In-depth technical knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and installation processes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
- Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of an HVAC apprenticeship or vocational training preferred.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Work Environment:
- Work will be conducted indoors and outdoors at residential and commercial job sites.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, or overtime as needed.
