Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Crawling consistently in attics and crawl spaces
- Climbing ladders to roof tops, work outdoors.
- Responsibly using ladders and other company tools
- Installing all types of heating and air conditioning equipment, in all types of situations and locations. Locations will include attics, rooftops, outdoors, crawlspaces and basements.
- Reading and understanding installation instructions, wiring and piping schematics to make proper installations. Must be able to write and communicate.
- Working in extreme job and weather conditions at times.
- Training and leading apprentices working under you.
- Communicating with the customers and contractors concerning the job perimeters.
- Enforcing and following all safety rules, company regulations, safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Planning and laying out jobs and ordering material.
- Understanding and practicing installation code requirements in order to pass code inspections.
- Design and properly size ductwork for different job situations.
- Planning and meeting goals in completing installations.
- Completing all paperwork requirements pertaining to job completion.
- Start-up and testing of all equipment installed.
- Brazing, correctly sizing and running piping per manufacturers specifications.
- Must wear PPE and follow all procedures in accordance to COVID and all other health and safety policies set forth by NearU at all times.
- All other duties assigned as needed.
Requirements:
- EPA Certification
- All candidates are subject to pre-employment drug screenings and background checks
- Must be EPA certified and have the ability to perform recoveries and evacuations. Study to acquire NATE certification.
- This job requires heavy lifting. Must be able to lift 50 to 100#s regularly.
- All applicants shall, unless otherwise described in the job requirements, possess a valid driver's license and shall demonstrate safe driving practice by submitting a recent DMV Safe Driving Record.

- Must have 5+ years Install Experience
