Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for service, maintenance, and repair, start up and commissioning. This role requires knowledge of various HVAC systems in Healthcare, Manufacturing, Municipalities and Office Complexes. Requires a strong understanding of HVAC systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
-Service, maintenance, repair and start-up of equipment consisting of chiller's, cooling towers, hydronic pumps, air handling equipment, roof top package AC, variable refrigerant flow AC, fluid coolers and water source heat pumps.
- Install new HVAC systems and components according to manufacturer specifications and local codes.
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.
- Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address HVAC-related issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance performed on equipment.
Skills and Requirements
- Skills in electrical, refrigeration, pipe fitting and air distribution.
- Display team effort by maintaining flexibility including overtime as required.
- Universal EPA Certification
- Proficient with hand held device (i.e. Smartphone, iPad).
- Computer Skills; Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on the job site.
- High School Diploma, GED or Trade School
- Requirement: Pre-Employment Drug Test Compliance.
- Requirement: Must have a clean driving record and provide a 39 month, uncertified MVD report.
- Requirement: Skilled in the use of extension and A-frame ladders, brazing and soldering, motorized electrical tools and safely lift and handle up to 50lbs.
- Requirement: At least 2-5 years of experience in commercial HVAC or equivalent combination of education (Technical School). Prior experience is required.

Pay: $23.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
