We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, Boiler refrigeration systems. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems in both residential and commercial settings. The HVAC Technician will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance and efficiency of all HVAC equipment.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), Boiler and refrigeration systems.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC, Boiler equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC, Boiler systems and provide effective solutions.
- Service and repair various appliances related to Boiler and HVAC systems.
- Conduct field service calls to address customer concerns regarding system performance.
- Collaborate with property maintenance teams to ensure all HVAC systems are operating efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance performed on equipment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing work tasks.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role in the field service industry.
- Strong mechanical skills with the ability to refrigerate, plumb, and maintain various HVAC systems.
- Knowledge of air conditioning units, boilers, and other heating/cooling appliances.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics related to HVAC systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
- Certification or relevant training in HVAC technology is preferred but not mandatory.
Qualifications

· Ability to communicate clearly via phone
· Ability to work closely with customer during site emergencies
· Excellent oral and written communications
· Excellent interpersonal skills, i.e., listening to customer needs, articulating path forward and giving solutions that provide value to the customer, etc
· High school diploma or demonstrated equivalent
· EPA Universal Refrigeration License
· As a HVAC / Boiler Technician, you will be responsible for daily support activities, including:
· Providing a level of expertise in performing preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance to a wide variety of industrial or commercial facility HVAC and Boiler equipment
· Ensure optimal and continuous operation of mechanical systems by performing routine inspections and maintenance, monitoring metering equipment and adjusting levels as necessary
· Maintenance, inspection (internal & external), and repair of boilers, burners, controls, and related boiler equipment (deaerator, blowdown separator, feedwater tank, water softener, chemical pumps, master panels, etc.) for both steam and hot water applications
· Identifying and correcting any safety-related issues and performing independent equipment evaluations to identify potential equipment failures
· Regularly testing boiler water and making necessary adjustments to chemicals to prevent corrosion and harmful deposits
· Operating, maintaining, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing ventilation equipment, pumps, fans, chillers, rooftop AHU’s, split systems, compressors, refrigeration, Boilers, and other mechanical equipment as needed
· Utilizing the building automation system to track building conditions and the operation of facilities equipment
· Provide a level of expertise in the efficient operation of all boiler, HVAC, and Hydronic systems
