Overview:
- Build 3D HVAC models using Revit and add on software Sysque. Coordinate and clash detection accomplished with Navisworks, or Revit if all team members are using Revit.
- Run the online team coordination meetings using Zoom when BCM is the BIM Lead or participate when the BIM lead is by the GC.
- Review engineering drawing and designs to ensure adherence to established specifications, code requirements and standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create accurate fabrication drawings using architectural, structural, and plumbing / mechanical & electrical contract drawings and specifications.
- Review of submittal data and shop drawings from equipment vendors for compliance with contract documents, design intent and functional installation.
- Develop RFI for distribution by management team. Review RFI responses and incorporate into the BIM model.
- Produce deliverables including: opening drawings, hanger drawings and details, Trimble files, 2D shop drawings for field crews, composite coordination drawings, composite RCP’s, 3D isometric views, and spooling sheets for shop fabrication.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Job Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- Experience: 5+ years in the HVAC BIM industry, preferred. 2+ years Revit experience required. Field experience with welded and grooved chilled water, heating hot water, condenser water, and refrigerant piping is plus!
- Candidate should have good judgment and be able to make decisions with respect to drawings and interpretation.

Pay: $40.00 - $65.00 per hour
