JOB DESCRIPTION: As a lead commercial service technician, you will perform service and repair on a variety of commercial HVAC systems and will be instrumental in mentoring "up & coming" service technicians.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or its equivalent. 3+ years of related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid driver's license, proof of recognized technical education, EPA license. This position requires pre-hire drug screen and background check.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, wiring diagrams and blueprints. Ability to draft routine reports. Ability to manage physical workload.
- Be familiar with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques for all sizes of commercial package units, water source heat pumps, heat exchangers, pumps, boilers, chillers, and control valves on assigned projects. Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Be familiar with building control systems and automation.
- Display team effort and dedication to customer by maintaining flexibility to work overtime, on-call service rotation and weekends as the business requires.
- Demonstrate willingness to accept responsibility and leadership roles.
- Take an active role to ensure a level of customer satisfaction that is beyond customer expectations.
- Have an understanding of hydronic systems and water treatment.
