Job Description: As a Plumbing Apprentice with SameDay, you will work alongside experienced plumbers, gaining hands-on experience and invaluable knowledge in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems. This role will provide you with comprehensive training and mentorship, setting you on a path to become a skilled and accomplished plumber.
What we need done:
- Assist experienced plumbers in various tasks, including pipe fitting, fixture installations, and repairs
- Learn to diagnose plumbing issues and apply effective solutions under the guidance of seasoned professionals
- Support the team in maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Embrace a consultative, customer-centric approach, ensuring excellent service delivery and client satisfaction, ultimately promoting our customer for life philosophy
- Offer the best products, solutions and services to our residential customers based on their uncovered needs
- Adhere to safety standards and company protocols at all times
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions
Who we are looking for:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Willingness to enroll in an accredited plumbing program to obtain an apprentice license, and ultimately your journeyman’s license.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and outstanding customer service.
- Willingness to learn and grow your craft to become proficient.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in physically demanding environments.
- Engaging personality that blends well in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- Competitive individual contributor who loves to win as a team.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a drug and background check.
