HVAC Installer Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Mechanical knowledge of HVAC system
- Ability to work hard and work smart, balancing attention to detail with productivity. Self-motivated.
- Valid driver's license - we provide a fully-stocked installation vehicle
- Basic understanding of building, mechanical, and fuel gas codes
- Be capable of completing an HVAC installation or replacement without direct supervision
- Be familiar with all HVAC components and their operation/function
- Good communication skills
- Advanced knowledge and skills with power and hand tools
- High level of honesty and integrity
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
- Applicants must be physically fit, and able to frequently lift or carry 20 to 75 pounds and assist with up to 120 pounds. Must be able to stand, bend, squat, sit, crawl, climb, carry, crouch and kneel
- Typical work performed in buildings, however, working conditions can include unheated areas, crawl spaces, roofs and all weather conditions
- Legal ability to work in U.S. with required documentation
Experience Requirements:
* Minimum of 2 years residential, commercial, or combined experience
* Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
* Self-starter who can work with little or no supervision
* CFC Refrigeration card
* O6A; NATE certifications preferred or willingness to obtain
