Job Description: The Lead HVAC Installer will oversee and execute the installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems residential replacements. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering superior service. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in HVAC installation, a strong understanding of industry standards, and the ability to mentor and guide junior technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage HVAC installation projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Install HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and related equipment.
- Conduct system testing and performance checks to verify correct installation and functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation.
- Provide on-site training and supervision to junior installers and apprentices.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, building codes, and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and project managers to coordinate schedules and project requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, including job reports and inventory of equipment and materials.
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continually enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or vocational training in HVAC preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC installation, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, components, and installation techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong leadership and mentorship abilities.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials (up to 50+ lbs.).
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions and confined spaces.
- Capable of climbing ladders, bending, and kneeling as necessary.
