As we expand our services to include specialized solar maintenance, solar detachments and resets, and the installation of solar accessories, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Master Electrician to join our team initially on a part-time basis. This role is critical in establishing our solar and electrical practice, with the potential to transition to a full-time position as our operations grow.
Job Description:
The Master Electrician will be responsible for overseeing and advising on all aspects of our solar maintenance, solar detachments and resets, and the installation of solar accessories. In this role, you will provide essential project scoping, technical guidance, and strategic insights to help shape the future of Solar Shield’s solar and electrical services. You will also serve as the sponsoring Master Electrician for the company, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the sponsoring Master Electrician for Solar Shield, LLC, ensuring compliance with all state and local regulations.
- Provide expert project scoping and technical advice for solar maintenance, solar detachments and resets, and the installation of solar accessories, including occasional solar panel installations.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to identify and assess new opportunities in solar maintenance and electrical services.
- Offer strategic insights and advisory services to leadership on the development and expansion of Solar Shield’s solar and electrical practice.
- Oversee the quality and safety of all electrical work performed by the company, ensuring that all projects meet industry standards and regulations.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior electricians and installation teams as needed.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure Solar Shield remains at the forefront of the solar and electrical industries.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Master Electrician license in the State of Texas and be willing to serve as the sponsoring Master Electrician for Solar Shield, LLC.
- Extensive experience in solar maintenance, solar detachments and resets, and the installation of solar accessories, with a strong background in both commercial and residential projects.
- Strong knowledge of state and local electrical codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to provide clear, actionable advice to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Availability to transition to a full-time role as the company’s solar and electrical practice grows.
Compensation:
