Salary range per hour
$30 - $40 / hour
3&3 Tech Flex Program
After your start date, you will be provided with the 3&3 Tech Flex Program plan document which provides specific details of this award program. In summary, eligible positions can participate in an exciting retention program that gives you choices each year: $3,500 Cash Bonus; 40 Extra Hours of Floating Holidays; $3,500 in Technical Training. For team members who become eligible mid-plan year, you will be placed in the Cash Bonus option for that year and the award will be pro-rated. Complete plan details will be provided after your start date and the plan document will govern the program.

We are looking for a skilled individual to join our team as an HVAC Installer helper. The responsibilities of the HVAC helper include performing routine maintenance, replacing parts, and replacing HVAC systems with tools, materials, and supplies.
To be successful as an HVAC installation helper, you should have a base working knowledge of HVAC systems as well as the tools related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of these systems. Ultimately, a top-notch HVAC helper should be physically fit, good with their hands, and able to effectively follow instructions.
Job Description
Responsibilities
- At least 3-6 years of HVAC experience with demonstrated expertise in system replacement installations.
- Technical Proficiency: Possesses a strong foundation in HVAC systems and equipment installation, including understanding electrical and mechanical components.
- Pipefitting/Brazing/Soldering: Proficient in pipefitting techniques and soldering/brazing processes, ensuring proper installation and connection of pipes for refrigerant piping especially.
- Troubleshooting Skills: Capable of identifying and resolving issues during installation, demonstrating problem-solving abilities in various HVAC scenarios.
- Attention to Detail: Pays meticulous attention to detail to ensure precision in measurements, fittings, and overall system installation, minimizing errors and optimizing efficiency.
- Customer Service: Exhibits excellent customer service skills, communicating effectively with clients and addressing any concerns or questions related to the installation process.
- Time Management: Efficiently manages time to meet project deadlines, balancing speed with accuracy to ensure timely completion of HVAC installations.
- Adaptability: Demonstrates flexibility in adapting to different HVAC systems, brands, and evolving industry technologies, staying current with advancements in the field.
- Safety Awareness: Prioritizes safety protocols and adheres to industry guidelines, creating a secure work environment for oneself and team members during HVAC installations.
- Team Collaboration: Works well in a team environment, coordinating with other construction professionals and collaborating effectively to achieve seamless integration of HVAC systems within overall construction projects.
- Position is performed remotely; however, may require travel/driving to locations for training, meetings and other in-person events.
- Responsible for performing work in accordance with established processes and practices that comply with internal and external requirements including but not limited to environmental, health safety, security, and fire protection.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed with some travel required.
- Physical Requirements: climb and descend ladders while carrying up to 30 lbs., lift up to 75 lbs. and maneuver in confined spaces i.e., crawlspaces, attics, etc.
- EPA Certification required.
- Must be able and willing to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Subject to drug, background, and driver’s license checks
Skills
- High school diploma or GED.
- Completion of a relevant apprenticeship may be advantageous.
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems and their inner workings.
- Familiarity with all tools and equipment necessary for HVAC installation and maintenance.
- Physical fitness and manual dexterity.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Good communication and customer service skills
