Overview
We are seeking a HVAC Helper/Installer who is willing to learn with plenty of room to grow to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 experience in HVAC/R systems and, most importantly, possess a high motivation to learn to excel in this role.
Responsibilities
- Assist in HVAC system installs including ductwork, refrigerant lines, and blowing insulation.
- Work in attics (must be able to safely conduct work in cramped, hot spaces)
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC units as needed
- Collaborate with the service technicians and crew to ensure timely completion of installations and repairs. **You will be working closely with our weatherization crew, as well as our residential technicians.
- Move materials, equipment, and supplies to/around the job site
- Help keep work area and tools clean & organized
Qualifications
- Some experience as an HVAC Installer or similar role
- Strong listening skills & ability to take direction
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- MUST be willing to submit to a background check before hire
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Able to be flexible in your daily responsibilities
- Eager to help and learn on the job
- Good attitude is a MUST
- Must be punctual with good time management skills (most days start at 7 AM)
- Bilingual (SPAN/ENG) a plus
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
