Must be able to obtain hospital clearance. Must have tools of the trade.
*Hourly wage will depend on years and level of experience.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the General Contractor and/or owner for the successful completion of each project.
- Maintain the construction schedule for each project by coordinating the manpower requirements.
- Escalate any disciplinary action or manpower issues that arise.
- Ensure that materials are ordered and delivered to the project as required by the construction schedule.
- Attend all required job site meetings or delegate someone to take your place when a conflict arises.
- Review with the Plumbing Project Superintendent the project turnover information, plans, submittal data, specifications, construction schedules, working hours, safety information, and any other pertinent information required.
- Document all actions, verbal communications, and any other correspondence and notify the appropriate team member.
- Inspect and visit the jobsite as required to ensure proper installation and compliance with the plans and specifications.
- Schedule all subcontractors as required to ensure they perform all their work as required by their subcontracts, construction schedules, plans and specifications.
- Coordinate with the testing contractor, if required, for the completion of any testing that may be required.
- Upon receipt of the approved submittals coordinate with the Project Administrator to ensure that a request has been made for operations and maintenance manuals for all equipment and material for the project.
- Ensure that startup sheets for all equipment are provided to the Project Administrator for the compilation of the closeout documents.
- Ensure that as-builts are provided to the Project Administrator for the compilation of the closeout documents.
- Provide the Project Administrator with the date for the beginning of the warranty so the warranty letter can be completed.
- Provide the Project Administrator with any other pertinent data that needs to be included in the closeout documents.
- Confirm with the General Contractor and/or owner that they have received the closeout documents.
- Notify the Project Administrator that the project is completed.
- Performs other duties as assigned; Assist with other requests as needed.
Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of plumbing codes and regulations.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and climb ladders
- Self-driven and reliable to work safely and independently
- Manage manpower, complete required daily paperwork, material ordering, and time management skills.
