Job Summary
Precision Heating & Cooling, Inc. located in North Royalton has been serving Cuyahoga County and surrounding area for over 28 years and has become a leader in HVAC industry. We are looking for a self motivated experienced technician to join our team. We are looking for someone to use their experience to perform tasks in all facets of the business including residential service, commercial service, and new installations.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Proficient in installing ductwork
- Able to measure duct work and install all equipment accessories
- Can complete low voltage connections on furnaces and air conditioners
- Braze, vacuum, and test line sets
- Meet schedules and timelines
- Read blue prints, schematics, technical installation diagrams
- Must be able to communicate well with supervisors, builders and other trades
- Complete and follow through on change orders
- Able to install HVAC systems per manufacturers specs and all local codes
- Ability to complete all necessary paperwork
- Must be able to work closely with customers in a residential environment
- Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems
- Diagnose and repair commercial HVAC systems
- Replace equipment in customers homes and provide a pleasant experience for the customer
- Must have strong mechanical skills
- Responsible for managing material needs to complete the job in a timely manner
- Qualifications and Skills
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
- Experience is preferred but we are willing to train
- Lifting, bending, pushing and moving objects weighing 75+ pounds
- Capable of climbing and working at heights, walking and standing for extended periods of time
- Ability to work independently
- Willingness to work in teams with differing personalities
- Professional phone skills
- EPA certification is preferred but not required
- HVAC Technical school is preferred but not required
