Job Summary
Assists plumbers in assembling, installing and repairing pipes, fittings and fixtures of heating, water and drainage systems in designated locations in a safe and courteous manner and in accordance with established standards and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Completes service calls and projects as assigned and dispatched.
· Installs equipment in homes and businesses in accordance with established standards and procedures; always, maintains safety and professionalism.
· Locates and diagnoses problems in existing equipment and water and drainage systems.
· Maintains existing equipment and water and drainage systems.
· Implements equipment installation utilizing thorough knowledge of equipment and its capabilities.
· Completely and accurately tests installed equipment, ensuring it is in proper working order prior to departure from installation site.
· Responds to management direction, follows instructions and communicates with management to meet customer needs.
· Requisitions needed supplies to complete assignments.
· Ensures that all applicable safety policies and codes are enforced and followed.
· Accurately completes all necessary paperwork including but not limited to work orders, service orders, time logs and emergency information schedules.
· Maintains inventory control of assigned equipment to ensure adequate stock levels; participates in form inventory process on a regularly scheduled basis.
· At all times, maintains control of all assigned company property and ensures that equipment is maintained in safe operating condition.
· Safely operates assigned company vehicle and ensures that it is maintained according to manufacturer’s specifications.
· Keeps assigned company vehicle clean and organized.
· Exhibits appearance and conduct in accordance with established company standards to present a professional image to customers and the general public; maintains the highest degree of decency, honesty and integrity as a guest in a customer’s home or place of business.
· At all times, when on call, ensures availability by phone, for service calls.
· Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
· Maintains a clean driving record.

Job Qualifications
· High School diploma or GED equivalent.
· Must hold and maintain a valid Texas Apprentice Plumbers license.
· Must hold and maintain a valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record.
· 2 years of experience in the plumbing service industry
