Electrician
Job Summary:
As an Electrician at Ambia Solar, you will play a vital role in the installation of residential solar panel systems. You will work closely with installers, crew foremen, and other tradesmen to ensure the safe and efficient installation of electrical systems. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining high-quality standards and adherence to the National Electrical Code.
Duties:
- Execute the installation of electrical systems for solar panel installations
- Mentor and learn from leadership to ensure safety and quality standards are met
- Act as a subject matter expert on solar installations for the team
- Follow National Electrical Code and company guidelines
- Troubleshoot inverter error codes and low voltage issues
- Perform full-service panel upgrades
- Provide clear installation information to support operations team
- Utilize wiring diagrams and plans effectively
- Collaborate with leadership and Masters to prioritize safety
Skills:
- Experience in the solar industry is preferred
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Knowledge of residential solar products such as inverters and modules
- Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Active Electrical Journeyman/Journeywoman License required
- OSHA 10 certification or ability to obtain
- Ability to lift/carry 50+ lbs and operate hand/power tools
- Valid US Driver's License with a clean driving record
- NABCEP Certification is a plus
