EME is currently seeking an experienced journeyman to further enhance and diversify our team. The selected candidate is expected to have 8+ years of experience, and an in-depth knowledge of commercial plumbing. They must be able to read & understand blueprints, perform take-offs, and anticipate needs. **Note: Our office is currently in Ogden. We will be moving to a brand new headquarters in West Haven by Summer 2024.**
- Plumbing Installation and Repair
- Serve as foreman or project lead
- Performing job take-offs from available blueprints
- Vigilance toward safety for self, crewmembers, and job site.
- Proactively anticipate procurement needs, and communication of same
- Communicate effectively at all levels, and collaborate with others
- Maintain documentation as needed
- Teach! Continuously teaching to improve the skills of other EME plumbers
- Suggest better ways to get the job done more efficiently
- Be cognizant of Project Profitability at all times
- Other duties as assigned
- Journeyman Licensure
- 8+ Years of Experience
- Ability and willingness to teach others
