```Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. As a Journeyperson Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings. Your expertise in plumbing and mechanical knowledge will be essential in ensuring the proper functioning of water supply, drainage, and heating systems.
Duties:
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in accordance with local plumbing codes
- Assemble pipes, fittings, valves, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools
- Inspect plumbing systems and identify issues or potential problems
- Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as electricians and HVAC technicians, to complete projects
- Utilize basic math skills to measure, cut, and bend pipes accurately
- Weld or solder pipes as needed
- Operate commercial vehicles to transport materials and equipment to job sites
Qualifications:
- Valid Journeyperson Plumber license
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations
