Position Overview:
We are seeking Journeyman Electricians with a strong background in commercial construction to join our client's team for projects across Houston and its surrounding areas. You will be working on your tools, handling complex installations, and ensuring high-quality electrical work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all aspects of electrical installations in large-scale commercial construction projects, including new builds and major renovations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics to accurately install electrical systems.
- Install and bend conduit, pull wire, and install electrical panels, transformers, and other electrical components.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues as needed.
- Work independently and efficiently while maintaining a high standard of safety and quality.
- Supervise and mentor apprentices as needed.
Qualifications:
- License: Must possess a current State of Texas Journeyman Electrician License.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience in commercial electrical work, with a strong emphasis on large-scale construction projects.
- Skills: Proficient in the use of all necessary tools and equipment, with a deep understanding of commercial electrical systems.
- Tools: Must have your own complete set of tools.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation is required.
- Screening: Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
