Job Overview:
We are a thriving electrical contracting firm experiencing growth, actively searching for skilled electricians seeking employment from the West Palm Beach to Miami area. Immediate and long-term positions available, particularly for those with experience in commercial projects.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems according to local and national electrical codes
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers, to identify hazards or defects
- Test electrical systems using specialized tools to ensure proper functioning
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Electrician in commercial settings.
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting wiring diagrams
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Familiarity with low voltage systems
- Ability to safely use power tools and hand tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license
Preferred Skills:
- Experience as a Commercial Electrician
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
Candidate must have pride in their work, be reliable and work in a safe manner. Candidate needs their own tools as well as mandatory Osha 10 card. Candidate must be willing to travel to WPB or live in the area.
