Kilgore Industries, one of the largest Mechanical, Electrical, and plumbing subcontractors in the state of Texas is seeking a skilled HVAC Sheetmetal Installer to join our team in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems, as well as a strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication and installation.
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Fabricate and install sheet metal ductwork
- Perform quality control checks on completed work
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an HVAC Sheetmetal Installer
- Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication and installation
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces
