The Residential Plumber will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential units across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in residential plumbing, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently while traveling between properties.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in residential units, including pipes, fixtures, water heaters, and appliances.
- Troubleshoot plumbing issues and identify necessary repairs or replacements.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as clearing clogged drains and replacing worn-out components.
- Inspect plumbing systems to ensure compliance with building codes and safety standards.
- Respond promptly to plumbing emergencies, such as leaks and burst pipes, and take appropriate corrective actions.
- Collaborate with property managers and maintenance staff to coordinate plumbing repairs and installations across multiple properties.
- Keep accurate records of work performed, including materials used, labor hours, and service reports.
- Communicate effectively with residents to explain plumbing issues and solutions in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid plumber's license or certification (Preferred).
- Willingness to travel between residential properties as needed.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a plumber, preferably in residential settings.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair techniques.
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and installation procedures.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Work schedule:
- Monday- Friday 9:00AM to 6:00PM
- Saturday and Sunday Emergencies Only
