Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and dependable Plumbing Helper to join our service team. The ideal candidate will assist our experienced plumbers with the maintenance and repair of plumbing systems. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and advance your career in the plumbing industry.
Responsibilities:
- Assist plumbers in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment.
- Help in the assembly, installation, and repair of pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems.
- Carry tools and materials, and assist with the setup and cleanup of job sites.
- Cut, measure, and thread pipes, using hand and power tools.
- Assist in testing plumbing systems for leaks and other issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervising plumber.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a construction or plumbing-related role is preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing systems and tools is an advantage.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Good physical condition and ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
