We are seeking an experienced and dedicated HVAC Technician to join our team and ensure the comfort and safety of our residents by maintaining the building's central air conditioning and heating systems.
Job Description:
The HVAC Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of the building’s heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure that all systems operate efficiently, comply with safety standards, and meet the needs of the residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems, including checking and cleaning ducts, coils, compressors, and electrical components.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment, including central air conditioning units, heating systems, and ventilation systems.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and ensure that all equipment is functioning properly.
- Respond promptly to HVAC-related service requests and emergencies from residents and building management.
- Monitor and adjust system controls, including thermostats and building management systems, to optimize energy efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
- Assist in the installation of new HVAC equipment as needed.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff to address building-wide issues and projects.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and communicate effectively with the property management team.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC certification or technical school training required.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an HVAC Technician, preferably in a residential building setting.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including central air conditioning, heating, and ventilation.
- Familiarity with building management systems and energy efficiency practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems with minimal supervision.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials.
- Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights.
- Capable of performing physically demanding tasks, including climbing ladders and standing for extended periods.

Pay: $35.04 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
