Elwyn is seeking a Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning/Maintenance Supervisor to be responsible for the HVAC equipment of the facilities. The supervisor will manage a wide variety of tasks related to the maintenance and repair of the systems. Areas of responsibility include trouble shooting, repairing and installing equipment troubleshoots, fixes, repairs and/or replaces HVAC systems as well as provides routine facility maintenance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Maintains the facilities HVAC systems including installation of new equipment
- Maintains and performs preventative maintenance (PM) in accordance with established PM schedules
- Communicates daily with maintenance supervisors and staff (via telephone and email) regarding facilities maintenance issues
- Arranges work orders as they are received and completes in order of priority
- Creates and maintains Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) refrigerant logs
- Maintains stock inventory and orders materials as needed
- Maintains and updates systems information in the computer data base as they are serviced/replaced
- Responds to requests for information by accessing relevant facility files
- Oversee the work activities of the Maintenance Repair Person
- Provides back-up coverage for maintenance supervisors as needed
- Provides on call responsibilities for building maintenance after hours
- Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Five (5) years' experience as a technician in the HVAC service industry
- One (1) year experience providing supervision preferred
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Knowledge of and proficient in relevant computer systems related to the field
- Experience working in building trades preferred
- Universal EPA Refrigerant Certification
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Must possess excellent customer interaction and written and verbal communication skills
- Must have current, valid driver's license in state of residence, three (3) years driving experience, and acceptable driving record
