ABM Industries is seeking a skilled HVAC Boiler Technician to join our team. The HVAC Boiler Technician will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of boilers and associated equipment. The ideal candidate will ensure the efficient and safe operation of all equipment, adhering to all relevant safety and environmental regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- **Operate and Maintain Boilers:**
- Monitor and maintain boiler systems, including pumps, valves, boilers, and other related equipment.
- Perform routine inspections, adjustments, and repairs to ensure optimal operation.
**Troubleshooting and Repairs:**
- Diagnose malfunctions and operational issues, and perform necessary repairs.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and manage emergency repairs to minimize downtime.
**Safety and Compliance:**
- Adhere to all safety and environmental regulations, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding boiler operations.
**Documentation and Reporting:**
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
- Prepare and submit reports on boiler performance and maintenance.
**Collaboration:**
- Work closely with other maintenance staff, engineers, and facility managers to coordinate activities and ensure efficient operation of all systems.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications
- **Education and Experience:**
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical certification in boiler operation and maintenance preferred.
- Minimum of [X] years of experience in boiler operation and maintenance.

- Strong understanding of boiler systems and associated equipment.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
