About the Role:
The HVAC Mechanic shall have a minimum of five (5) years journeyman level experience. This position is located in Baltimore, Maryland. Shift is M-F 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Parking is provided.
- General HVAC maintenance and repair of standard building equipment
- Logging plant equipment (chillers, cooling towers, boilers, AHU, exhaust fans) including chillers and boilers, noting trends and adjust accordingly based on weather conditions and tenant requirements
- Familiarity with chiller and boiler operations, tuning and adjustments
- Experience rebuilding pumps and replacing bearings on motors, general maintenance on AHU's, induction units
- Familiarity with BAS operations, trending data and making operational changes
- Demonstrated operational experience with Fire Alarm system, life safety generators and load bank testing
- Proven track record of preventative and predictive maintenance on building system
- Responding to tenant service request, documenting in CMMS system
- General maintenance on HVAC systems including induction coil cleaning, brazing coils, VFD preventative maintenance
- Perform Refrigerant recovery and recycling
- Interface with building managers and other customer representatives in order to ensure client satisfaction
- Accurately document work performed on trouble tickets or work orders
- Place and/or remove systems, hardware and equipment as required
- Purchase materials and supplies, and maintain inventory as required for timely work completion
- Perform other related duties as assigned
You Should Have:
- Journeyman level experience required
- High School degree or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years experience working on commercial HVAC systems
- Commercial high rise building experience
- Must have working knowledge of 480V and below electrical systems, HVAC and plumbing system
- Universal CFC Certification
- Must demonstrate a high degree of proficiency in Building Operations
- Must be able to pass background check
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor
- Must be detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced work environment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
