Solstice Solar is a residential Solar Contractor based out of Houston, Tx. Having installed more than 10 Megawatts of solar systems in 2023 alone, Solstice Solar is a medium sized company that is looking forward to adding more experienced talent to our group of Energy Experts.
Position Summary:
Solstice Solar is looking for an ambitious Journeyman Electrician who wants to be part of the booming solar industry long-term. If you're interested in competitive hourly rate, overtime, and growth within a friendly environment, this position is for you.
Pay:
$35 an hour.
Position Duties and Responsibilities:
- Journeyman will be provided a company truck to drive to different job sites.
- Journeyman expected to be installing Battery Backup systems as well as SPAN Smart Electrical Panels (previous Solar experience required).
- Journeyman expected to be performing Residential Service Upgrades.
- Journeyman expected to utilize communication skills with Homeowners of different projects.
- Journeyman will be driving to different parts of the Greater Houston for each respective project/install. Solstice Solar projects are each at a different customer's home address.
- Install electrical wiring and equipment for residential solar systems.
- Comfort using a ladder safely.
Required Qualifications
- Prior Solar Experience REQUIRED.
- Valid Journeyman License in the state of Texas.
- Valid Texas Drivers License. Company truck will be provided to electrician to drive to jobsites.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends when needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
