Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Perform electrical calculations to determine appropriate wire sizes and circuit breakers
- Install and connect electrical components, such as switches, outlets, and lighting fixtures
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and make necessary repairs
- Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters, to complete projects on time
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a commercial electrician
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics
- Strong knowledge of high voltage systems and equipment
- Familiarity with frame carpentry techniques for electrical installations
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
