Oregon Heating & Air Conditioning is looking for Commercial HVAC Installers.
The Commercial HVAC Installer plays a crucial role in installing and maintaining HVAC systems for commercial properties. We are looking for a skilled professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality service to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Install HVAC systems in accordance with company standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Perform wiring of both low and line voltage to heating and cooling equipment.
- Install copper refrigerant lines, including brazing and soldering.
- Set up flex and sheet metal duct systems in various buildings.
- Ensure proper connection of gas lines to heating equipment.
- Verify receipt of necessary materials and load them into the company vehicle.
- Exceed customer expectations by delivering exceptional service.
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently.
- Maintain positive relationships with colleagues and superiors.
- Complete all job-related paperwork accurately.
- Conduct readings on machines and interpret results effectively.
- Keep the company vehicle clean and well-maintained.
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by management.
Skills:
- Proficiency in HVAC.
- Experience as a van driver or in property maintenance is a plus.
- Familiarity with schematics, ohmmeters, and field service operations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in HVAC installation.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and mechanical aptitude.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
- EPA, NATE, OSHA, and Brazing certifications are desired.
Working Conditions:
You will primarily work on job sites and occasionally in the shop. Exposure to varying weather conditions may occur. The role may involve lifting heavy equipment, working in confined spaces, climbing ladders, and adhering to safety protocols at all times. Flexibility regarding work hours, including weekends and overtime during peak seasons, is essential.
