Position Overview: **$2,000 Sign On Bonus**
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial HVAC systems, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to providing top-notch service. This position involves installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems in commercial buildings, ensuring they operate efficiently and reliably.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in commercial buildings, including but not limited to air conditioners, heating units, and ventilation systems.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems and provide effective solutions.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Ensure all installations and repairs comply with industry standards and local codes.
- Communicate with clients to explain system issues and recommended repairs or maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked.
- Collaborate with team members and other trades to ensure project completion and client satisfaction.
- Stay current with industry trends, technology, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in HVAC preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and industry standards.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- EPA certification and other relevant licenses/certifications are a plus.
