PURPOSE OF POSITION & REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
Reports to Site Superintendent.
REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities)
Education
- High school diploma/GED equivalent is required for this position.
Experience
- Three to five years of plumbing experience.
- A journeyman is required to be obtained within 12 months and/or master plumber licenses is preferred.
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
- This person must possess a high level of written and oral communication skills.
- Basic skillset utilizing computer programs such as Excel, Word, and Outlook are required.
- Possesses exceptional interpersonal communication skills, strong organizational skills, and time-management skills.
- Ability to communicate with all levels within the organization and across functional teams.
- Must be able to multi-task and proceed with objectives under limited or no supervision.
ESSENTIAL COMPONENTS
Responsibilities
· Create material take-offs and submit to field operations manager for collaboration.
· Submit all material orders in Procore to the purchasing department.
· Schedule labor and material needs for all projects with the field operations manager.
· Schedule material deliveries based on general contractor projected schedule.
· Assist site super with managing project to its entirety to ensure quality and correct installation of product.
· Coordinate with site super for all project needs.
· Maintain a safe and clean work environment on all projects.
· Responsible for conducting toolbox talks with all employees associated with the job site.
· Responsible for maintaining OSHA standards and certifications as required on all job sites and projects.
· Schedule all site inspections and complete daily reports on Procore.
· Maintain, organize, and project storage needs on site.
· Coordinate all deliveries with purchasing department and suppliers.
· Order and maintain all equipment on the job site.
· Must understand the scope and contractual obligations of the project and report any issues to the field operations manager.
· Maintain current set of plans and specs for each individual project in Procore and paper copies as needed.
· Responsible for quality control and subcontractor’s performance.
· Request and maintain proper records of change orders and change order proposals.
· Update and maintain a current submittal package in Procore while collaborating with commercial project coordinator.
· Responsible for attending all site meetings with general contractor and adhering to their schedules.
- Responsible for handling warranty requests for warranty period of previously completed projects.
- Learn supervisory skills, GC relations, Hallway Plumbing documents, Hallway procedures, and general project management skills from the superintendent and field ops managers for the assigned project.
- Assist the superintendent with daily logs, material orders, manpower scheduling, plan interpretations, plumbing codes, etc. to facilitate the transition from asst super to superintendent.
- Be able to obtain and display the necessary knowledge and skills needed to run the project without direct supervision.
- Follow directives from superintendent and operation managers to further the individual’s capacity to run a project on their own.

- Works in a supportive and collaborative manner with the all-operations team members.
- Works with current and prospective suppliers in a professional manner using the highest ethics possible.
- Demonstrates the ability to interact professionally with other Hallway Plumbing employees.
- Demonstrates the ability to interact professionally with external contacts.
- Coordinates with all other employees in a manner that maximizes overall business effectiveness.
Physical Demand
· Lifts up to 75 pounds from the floor to waist level and able to carry such objects for at least 50 feet.
· Capable of driving and taking various forms of transportation to get to job sites.

- Demonstrates good judgment and reasoning in regard to daily administration of all functions and activities associated with this position.
- Demonstrates good judgment in regard to providing information and advice to the commercial operations team.
