Job Title: HVAC Test & Balance Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced HVAC Test & Balance (TAB) Technicians to join our team for a high-profile, heavy industrial project at an automotive manufacturing assembly plant. This role requires skilled professionals with expertise in space conditioning, NEBB certification, and experience in major capital commercial projects. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, technical proficiency, and a commitment to quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform HVAC test and balance (TAB) services in compliance with NEBB standards.
- Manage and optimize space conditioning for industrial and commercial environments.
- Diagnose and resolve airflow, system performance, and thermal balance issues.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other technicians to meet project goals.
- Maintain thorough documentation of test results and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Lead and mentor junior technicians as required.
Qualifications:
- Experience:4-8 years of HVAC TAB experience, including heavy industrial and major capital commercial projects.
- Certification: NEBB certification required.
- Skills: Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Preferred Experience: Automotive manufacturing assembly plant experience is highly desirable.
- Union Experience: Familiarity with union-based environments (e.g., ABM) is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly Rate: $35-$40/hour (Lead Tech/Foreman level at $40/hour).
- Per Diem: $90/day available for eligible candidates.
- Schedule: 60-hour workweeks, Monday-Saturday.
Start Date: ASAP, with interviews conducted during the 1st week of January and work beginning in the 2nd week of January
