As a Refrigeration Installation Technician at Ty Construction Company, you will play a vital role in our operations, ensuring the efficient and quality installation of commercial refrigeration systems - primarily in supermarkets.

The refrigeration industry has many opportunities in today's market, with a significant amount of growth projected in the coming years.

Responsibilities include:

Installing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of refrigeration systems, including walk-in coolers, freezers, case fixtures, and HVAC units for clients such as Walmart, Giant, Amazon, Lidl and numerous other familiar grocery retailers.
Occasionally conducting diagnostic tests, identifying malfunctions, and performing necessary repairs or replacements of faulty components.
Collaborating with the project team to ensure accurate and timely completion of installations.
Adhering to industry standards, safety protocols, and best practices in refrigeration system maintenance and repair.
Providing exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, offering expert advice, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Schedule will include both day time and night time projects (not occurring in tandem) - willingness to work night shift will be required.
Travel and out of town lodging will occasionally, but not necessarily frequently, be required.

Qualifications:

Prior experience as a Refrigeration Installer or similar role.
Strong knowledge of commercial refrigeration systems/cycle.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, diagrams, and blueprints.
Relevant certifications, such as EPA 608 Universal Certification, are preferred.
Relevant experience with EMS control systems is preferred, but not required.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
