Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Solar Electrician to join our dynamic team. As a Commercial Solar Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting solar energy systems for commercial and industrial clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical background, expertise in solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, sustainable energy solutions.

Responsibilities:

Installation and Maintenance:
Install, inspect, and maintain commercial solar PV system components
Perform system commissioning and ensure adherence to industry standards and safety protocols.
Troubleshooting and Repairs:
Diagnose and repair issues in solar electric systems to optimize performance and maximize energy output.
Conduct routine inspections to identify potential problems and implement preventive maintenance measures.
Electrical Wiring and Integration:
Execute electrical wiring from solar panels to inverters and connecting to the main electrical systems of commercial buildings.
Integrate solar power systems with existing electrical infrastructure and ensure compliance with local codes and regulations.
Quality Control:
Conduct quality control checks on installations to guarantee system functionality, efficiency, and durability.
Ensure that all work meets safety standards, building codes, and customer specifications.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Provide regular progress reports to project managers and clients.
Collaboration:
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure seamless project execution.
Collaborate with customers to address any concerns or questions related to solar energy systems.

Qualifications:

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of a certified apprenticeship program or relevant vocational training.
Experience:
Proven experience as a commercial solar electrician, with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in solar PV installations and maintenance.
Licenses and Certifications:
Valid electrician's license.
Solar PV Installer Certification preferred.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in electrical wiring, troubleshooting, and repair.
Strong understanding of solar PV technology and components.
Familiarity with relevant software tools for system monitoring and diagnostics.
Communication Skills:
Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, team members, and other stakeholders effectively.
Safety:
Commitment to adhering to safety guidelines and promoting a culture of safety on job sites.
