Primary responsibilities involve identifying and troubleshooting maintenance issues on equipment, carrying out warranty services, and promptly executing emergency repairs on specific items.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Install various HVAC systems with attention to detail
Set up metal and flex ductwork in commercial and residential buildings
Ensure correct gas line connections to heating equipment
Conduct all startup phases for new constructions
Install copper lines for AC units, including brazing
Confirm job permits and ensure compliance with codes
Complete quality checklists for each job
Mentor apprentices and participate in training programs
Adhere to safety and environmental policies
Perform additional assigned tasks

REQUIREMENTS

Basic wiring, ductwork, gas piping, venting and copper brazing experience
Professional appearance and communication skills
Personal tools needed to perform work
Positive attitude and enthusiasm towards learning new skills and a mindset of getting the job done
Self-starter with the ability to work with little or no supervision within a team focused environment
Available to work overtime with the occasional weekend install as necessary
Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

One year residential and/or commercial HVAC installation experience (Required)
EPA Certification or willingness to obtain certification (Required)
Submit to a background check and motor vehicle report
EPA Type II (Preferred)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Ability to meet the physical demands-lifting, carrying, walking, crawling, standing, stooping, sitting and climbing for prolonged periods of time
Working conditions will include rooftops, concrete structures, ceilings, crawlspaces, attics, basements, extreme weather conditions, etc.

LOCATION

The company is located in Charlotte, NC 28269. A reasonable commute or planning to relocate before starting work is required. Traveling between job sites will be necessary.

Pay: $5,000.00 - $8,000.00 per month
