The Apex Generation Station located in Las Vegas, NV is seeking an O&M, Instrumentation Controls & Electrical Technician. Primary functions of this position include troubleshooting & maintenance of the following: Mark 5, Mark 6, ABB Symphony, Facility Transmitters, 120VAC to 550K AC, UPS, Voltage Regulators, Inverters, DC Systems, and Valve Actuators.

Annual Salary for this role: $107,640.00 - $126,152.00 as contingent upon experience and education

Job Responsibilities

Maintain Staffing - 4x10 Schedule, Call Outs, Personnel required 24/7. Must keep availability & reliability at 98%

Required Skills / Knowledge

Proven track record of extensive trouble shooting and maintenance of electrical and instrumentation relating to electrical generation facilities e.g. Coal, Nuclear, Hydro, Simple & Combined Cycle Facilities

Experience

10+ years of proven combined cycle and/or simple cycle, original equipment manufacturer experience

Education Requirements

Military, Trade-Vocational or Union, and/or original equipment manufacturer training

Physical Requirements

Lift 75 pounds, pass drug screen & physically fit for duty
