Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Solar Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical work, particularly in high voltage and low voltage systems, and will be comfortable working on construction sites. As a Solar Installer, you will play a crucial role in the installation of solar energy systems for residential and commercial properties. Your expertise will help us deliver sustainable energy solutions while ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

Install solar panels on roofs and other structures according to project specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of solar systems.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for fixture installation.
Ensure proper electrical connections for both high voltage and low voltage systems.
Collaborate with team members to complete installations efficiently and safely.
Conduct site assessments to evaluate installation requirements and potential challenges.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on construction sites.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Solar Installer or in a related field such as commercial electrician or electrical work.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage installations.
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and equipment used in installation processes.
Experience working on roofs and understanding the safety measures involved.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot installation issues as they arise.
Strong attention to detail, ensuring all installations meet quality standards.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 per week
