Overview:

We are seeking a working/hands on and experienced Director of Maintenance to oversee our licesened assisted living campus. Looking for someone with maintenance experience in the long term care environment. This role is responsible for the overall daily maintenance of the building and grounds, working with vendors who assist with preventative maintenace and major repaire. Must be able to work independantly and with little oversight. Able to make genral repairs, drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical.

Responsibilities:

-Plan and schedule preventive maintenance activities, weekly, monthly, and yearly per state board of health requirements.

- Conduct weekly, monthly inspections to identify potential issues or areas for repair and make said repairs.

- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or services

- Ensure compliance with all State Baord of Heahlth and Osha safety regulations and standards

- Oversee electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and other systems to ensure proper functioning and inspections and service.

- Collaborate with other departments to support their maintenance needs

- Manage the maintenance budget

Skills

- Strong organizational and time management abilities- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and others.

-Solid understanding and ability to make general repairs with drywall, trim, ceiling, doors, Hvac and Ptac units, electrical, lighting, carpet cleaning and floor cleaning, general cleaning duties daily.

- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues
