About the role:

The Sr Refrigeration Field Service Engineer, under direct and indirect supervision, supports the operations of the Service Department both in the field and occasionally in the shop, in service, repair, calibration, and preventive maintenance of refrigerated (and some non-refrigerated) scientific equipment including freezers, refrigerators, lyophilizers, vacuum pumps, and other types of equipment.

Field Responsibilities:

Perform repairs, preventative maintenance, installations, and shop infrastructure work as needed.
Work may include pick-up and delivery of equipment, field service, shop service/repairs, calibration, and preventative maintenance of refrigerated (and some non-refrigerated) scientific equipment including freezers, refrigerators, lyophilizers, vacuum pumps, and other types of equipment.
Provide support for servicing customers’ specialty equipment in shop.

What you'll need:

5+ years’ field service experience in scientific or specialized refrigeration, sterilization or HVAC, with related certifications.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and internet functions is required; accounting and construction software packages preferred.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to customers, vendors and managers via phone and in person.
