Looking for an experienced Electrician with diverse commercial experience to join our team. Applicant must be able to meet challenges and deadlines while controlling project costs to deliver quality workmanship. Excellent communication skills, both verbally and via email, as well as the ability to work independently and on a team is required. Applicants must have a valid Virginia Master Electrician License or proof of completed Journeyman requirements. Valid driver’s license and the ability to work in schools is required. Work location are mostly within the Northern Virginia area; this is not contract/per diem work. Full position description available on request.

Duties Include:

- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine the layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
- Inspect electrical systems, components, and equipment to identify hazards, defects, or malfunctions
- Install and maintain lighting fixtures, switches, outlets, circuit breakers, transformers, and other electrical components
- Collaborate with other construction professionals such as architects and engineers to ensure electrical systems are installed correctly and meet project specifications
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment

Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Electrician or similar role
- Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems
- Experience in renovating existing electrical systems or installing new systems in commercial buildings
- Strong knowledge of power tools and hand tools used in the trade
- Excellent troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve electrical issues efficiently
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team depending on the project requirements

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
